Flowers
Everyone loves flowers. Unless they happen to suffer from extreme hayfever, which is always unfortunate and means you can skip this section.
But while flowers play their roles in gardens, in vases, on tables, don't ever underestimate flowers in the bedroom.
For a start, they smell nice. And we’ve discussed the some of the pleasurable and aphrodisiac qualities of scent.
Roses are of course traditional and particularly decadent in any setting. And what would springtime be without jasmine? Gardenias can be particularly intoxicating. All these can be found in your average garden or shop.
Flowers also look lovely. It’s part of their functional design to be so appealing to the senses. You know, the birds and the bees. And there’s a reason that they work as a euphemism for feminine anatomy. You haven’t seen seduction till you’ve seen it done with a barely blossomed flower.
And then there’s the undeniable aesthetical appeal of red roses on black and white sheets, or any other colour combination you can think of.
Most importantly, flowers feel amazing. All those soft petals brushing lightly against… If you like, you can even leave the thorns on. Crushed red rose petals will leave a blushing stain on your skin, you’ll smell heavenly and of course there’s that vitamin C, so you know it’s good for you.
If there are candles burning and flowers scattered over the bed you know you’re in for a pretty special night.
And if it’s been a while since you’ve had flowers in the bedroom, try it.. You might just discover a sensation you never knew you’d forgotten.
